Art As Therapy

While studying art at Reedley College, Ed learned to embrace spontaneity. Each piece begins organically, and form is added to allow the viewer to see what the artist is seeing.

Ed mostly works with watercolor and acrylic, and sometimes mixes the two for greater textural impact. His favorite techniques involve applying paint and then folding or crumpling to create a kind of Rorschach that he can then detail in ink.
